Ends:  Nov 14, 2026 05:00 PM (PT)

Join us at the meeting that advances molecular diagnostics to transform precision medicine

The program for AMP 2026 (https://amp26.amp.org/) in November is coming into focus, and the meeting's organizers have created more ways than ever for you to share your research and engage with the molecular diagnostics community.
Check out what's brewing for Seattle:

PLENARY SPEAKERS

  • Kenneth Aldape, M.D., Mayo Clinic: Utility of Methylation Profiling for Cancer Classification
  • Jatinder Lamba, Ph.D., University of Florida: From Genome to Treatment: Tailoring Induction Chemotherapy for Acute Myeloid Leukemia
  • Romney Humphries, Ph.D., Vanderbilt University: Artificial intelligence for antimicrobial resistance (and susceptibility!) predictions
  • Jeff Nivala, Ph.D., University of Washington: Stepping towards single-molecule protein sequencing using nanopores
  • Benjamin Solomon, M.D., National Institutes of Health: Data, deep learning, and decision-making: AI in precision medicine and genomics

PRESENT YOUR WORK

Abstracts will be considered for:

▶️ Platform presentations: This year we have increased the number of platform presentations by 66%, significantly expanding presentation opportunities and bringing more high-quality work to the forefront.

▶️ Lightning talks: New this year, these will be short, focused presentations of timely research and emerging findings. The lightning talks will be selected from abstract AND from case study submissions (more on case studies below).

▶️ Poster presentations: Each poster will be presented as a printed, physical poster in the expo hall and uploaded to the meeting app as an ePoster.

Accepted abstracts will be published in The Journal of Molecular Diagnostics.

Learn more about abstract submission: https://amp26.amp.org/abstract-posters/abstract-submission-information/

The abstract system opens for submissions April 1. Submissions are due June 30.

▶️ Case studies:
We've created more slots for presentations this year to accommodate more high-quality clinical cases, including (as noted above) lightning talks.

The case study system opens July 6. Submissions are due Sept. 4

GET RECOGNITION AND HELP WITH TRAVEL EXPENSES

We offer a variety of poster and travel awards to acknowledge great work and to make the meeting more accessible.
  • The application system will open April 1.
  • Application deadline: June 30.
  • Each award has its own criteria.

Would you like to take on a visible role at the meeting? Moderator applications from early and mid-career professionals will be accepted in the summer. Join our mailing list today to be notified when it's time to apply: https://1a7aad-3fcf.icpage.net/get-involved-with-amp-2026

Want to be one of our online AMPlifiers?
Each year, a small group of attendees serves as a social media street team at the meeting. These AMPlifiers post about research findings and behind-the-scenes moments. It's a good way to network, practice your science communication skills and grow your online following. Email Amanda Halprin at ahalprin@amp.org to be considered!
